On Saturday October 6th The US Embassy and One Eleuthera Foundation sponsored a small, one-day strategic planning workshop, held at the Cancer Society’s Wellness Centre in Palmetto Point which commenced at 9:00am and concluded at 3:00pm.

In addition to receiving a resource book detailing strategic plan writing, each organization walked away with a near-complete strategic plan or was able to review their existing plan. The trainer, Dawn Crosby, previously led NGO workshops in Nassau and Abaco and understands the issues facing NGOs and community based organizations in The Bahamas.
