Eleuthera, Bahamas- On September 17, 2016 a “Grill and Games” was hosted by South Eleuthera Emergency Partners (SEEP) in aid of the Maintenance of their fire trucks and ambulances. SEEP is a community-led organization that serves and enriches the communities of South Eleuthera by providing volunteer fire and medical transport services. SEEP depends upon volunteer firefighters to function and fundraisers to fill the gap for its funding. In partnership with One Eleuthera Foundation and the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Eleuthera, the four community organizations worked together to put on the fundraiser.
The proceeds of the event wil be used to help support the maintenance of their fire trucks and ambalance. The event was an opportunity to bring persons in the community together to fellowship as well as learn more about how SEEP is helping to provide essential services on the island, from putting out fires to storm emergencies as well as vehicle accidents.
