Program Description: The primary goal of this grant opportunity is to enhance the ability of local communities to promote youth programs and meet the immediate physical needs of members of the Eleutheran community. Funding is available for churches, schools and/or teachers to start or enhance a wide-range of services for young persons and disadvantaged members of society. A special emphasis is placed on services to underserved communities.

Guidelines

•Applications will be evaluated based on the project impact, project quality and quality of planning.

•If your Application is approved, we will be issued a letter of agreement for the grant outlining the terms and conditions of the grant. Grantees must submit a final report by the date specified above. Specific guidelines of what to include in the report is provided below. Failure to submit a report by the due date will result in ineligibility for future grant opportunities.

•One Eleuthera Foundation wishes to support projects in the following focus areas:

oYouth programs (including camps) (youth ranges from age 3 to 18)

oTutoring/mentoring program 

oFood Bank or Soup Kitchens

•Eligible project expenses include: 

oImplementing or expanding project 

oPurchasing project supplies

oStaff/Volunteer/Youth training 

oCommunity Outreach, transportation and communications costs

•Grant funding cannot be used for salaries, fundraising events or activities, or personal expenses 

 

Grant Report Checklist: 

If awarded a grant, you will be required to submit a final report on the following:

•Performance Measures – You will be required to report your final progress against your pre-established performance targets 

•Project Use of Funding Details – You will be required to complete a full project budget providing justification that describes how the funding was used during the grant period. It is important that you include specific details for each budget item and receipts, including cost calculations for things such as training, supplies, etc. 

•Project development and impact – The purpose of this section is to summarize the status of the project activities and the project implementation or expansion. You will also be required to report on the accomplishments/outcomes of your project and what has been the impact of your project on the community.
