A small group of women from the Hatchet Bay community received breast cancer information on Friday September 25th at St. Mark’s Methodist Hall. The group of ladies were attentive as our Community Outreach Coordinator shared facts and statistics related to breast cancer in the Bahamas. Also attending the breast cancer session and giving assistance were office administrator of the Eleuthera Cancer Society and Breast Cancer Outreach Program trainee, Sherry Cann and trainee, Nurse Bernadette Colebrook. Each person in attendance pledged to pay attention to their bodies and have any abnormalities checked by a healthcare provider immediately.
