Breast cancer information was presented at yet another outreach session by our Community Outreach Coordinator to the waiting patients at the Tarpum Bay Clinic. A brief discussion followed the presentation as the ladies asked questions for clarity on some issues relating to the content. Special emphasis was placed on the four breast self-awareness messages which the women all took note of. Each were reminded to have regular mammograms. Further, they all pledged to pay attention to any changes occurring with their breasts and to seek help if any of the mentioned changes presented. All in attendance received breast cancer literature and additional copies were left at the clinic for other visitors to have access to.
