On Sunday September 13th, our Community Outreach Coordinator (COC) presented breast cancer information to the 300 plus creole speaking congregation at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Gregory Town. The packed church consisted of a cross section of men, women and children. The group showed notable interest and participated in a lengthy and healthy dialogue around the subject of breast cancer. With the help of a translator they understood the presentation and showed great concern. They all pledged to take care of their bodies by paying close attention to any changes that may occur, especially with the breasts.
