During Haynes Library’s regular “Coffee Time”, women were given breast cancer information by Community Outreach Coordinator (COC), Maisie Thompson. The session was interactive as those present were engaged in dialogue with the COC throughout the presentation. The women were notably very aware and concerned about the high prevalence of breast cancer in the Bahamas. They each took home additional information to read and share with others.
