While 21 patients at the Governor’s Harbour clinic waited to see the doctor, they received breast cancer information from the One Eleuthera Foundation and Susan G. Komen’s Community Outreach Coordinator (COC). They were admonished to pay attention to their breasts, get screened and to also make healthy lifestyle choices. Some asked questions and shared comments. The group consisted of men, women and teenagers. Additionally, they were all given breast cancer literature to read and share with others.
